APPRYED MEN OF HEALTH WORKERS RESULTS IN ONSDO

The armed people suspected of being kidnappers have kidnapped a member of the federal medical center staff in Owo, Owo Regional Government Area in Ondo State.

The victim, known as the Akesinro priest, was kidnapped at his residence in Upenme, Owo Lga, on Thursday night.

Commissioner of the State Police, Adebowale Lawal, who confirmed the incident to reporters on Friday in Akure, said the police operators combed the forest to arrest the kidnappers and rescued victims without injury.

He added that the operators worked with personnel from other security institutions to save victims.

CP said: “Our people are currently in the bush in collaboration with other relatives’ agents and involving the community to save victims without injury.

“Let me convince you that we don’t rest to ensure citizens are well secured.”
