Armed people on Thursday attack the Rubi community in the Butura District in the Bokkos Regional Government in the State Plateau and killed 11 people.
Spokesperson for State Police Command, Mr. Alfred Alabo, revealed that this was known in a statement on Friday in JOS.
He said the Commissioner of the State Police, Mr. Emmanuel Adesina, condemned the attack during a visit to the community.
The spokesman said: “On March 27, around 10:00 pm, we received a report about several armed people who invaded the village of Ruwi around 09:20 and began to shoot sporadically.
“As a result, some citizens who obey the law from the community that are in places to build their lives.

“Many others get various levels of injury.
“Immediately, the Police Commissioner directs the Division Police Officer (DPO) in Bokkos to mobilize to the scene for the necessary actions.”
. The Bokkos Cultural Development Council (BCDC) also confirmed the incident in a statement.
Likewise, the government of the highlands condemned the incident and asked the security agencies to lure the perpetrators.
Commissioner of State for Information, Ny. Joyce Ramnap, urged the people of the community not to take the law into their own hands.
He reiterated the commitment of the state government to the security of life and property of all citizens.
