Armed men killed a woman, kidnaping her husband in Edo

Armed people on Monday night killed a woman and kidnapped her husband in the Ubuneke-IVbiaro community, East Edo Regional Government of East.

Witnesses told reporters on Tuesday that the incident said the attackers invaded the residence of Mr. Arimazoya Abona and shot his wife’s neck before taking him to the bushes.

The kidnappers are said to have reached the families of the victims and demanded that the N100 million ransom for their release.

Spokesman for the State Police Command, Moses Yamu, confirmed the incident.

He said two suspects had been arrested in connection with the crime.
