At least three people were killed after the train slipped in South Germany, the police said.

A federal police inspectorate spokesman in Stuttgart told Sky News before that the incident occurred near the city of Riedlingen.

Two trains came out of the rail between the city and the Munderkingen around 18:10 local time on Sunday, with around 100 people going up.

Photographs from the scene show the train parts by his side when the savior rises above the car.

It is not clear how many people are injured. Passengers have since been evacuated from the train.

Federal and local police said the cause of the incident was still under investigation.

The Reuters news agency reported that the train was on the 55 mile route between Sigmaringn and ULM in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg.
