Former vice president and presidential candidate from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has criticized the lives of the Tinubu Ball President who continues to live in France while Nigeria faces a wave of deadly violence and killings throughout the country.
In a spicy statement issued by his media office on Thursday morning, Atiku accused Tinubu of leaving Nigeria for one of the darkest moments of starting what he described as “a hidden vacation in the official jargon.”
Atiku further accused that President Tinubu not only left Nigeria and Nigeria but also showed insults to citizens by choosing to remain abroad while people in the highlands, benues, and other parts of the country were attacked.
The PDP chief who questioned the reasons behind the recognized Tinubu work holiday in France, asked the time and travel needs, referring to the increasing victims of the attack on home violence and the lack of clear communication about what was needed by work visits.
Atiku also questioned the logic of billions of expenditure to borrow while the President started what he called the “makeup journey” abroad, showing that nothing was done by Tinubu in France could not be done from Nigeria.

The former vice president referred to the new murder in the highlands, where more than 100 people have been killed in repeated attacks by armed attackers in the last few weeks, attacks in the state of benue by the suspected shepherd and the revival of terrorists Boko Haram in the state of Borno and other parts in the northwest, and accuse that the president has attacked the people to their people.
“Nigeria is in a full emergency. Not a made-up political emergency as stated by Tinubu in the river for the profit of this partisan is the national collapse,” he said.
“While Tinubu eats under the chandelier in a good government land, the country he ordered spinning becomes chaos.
“When Tinubu returns from this latest adventure, he will collect 59 surprising days in France since the office assumption.
“Let the facts speak alone. What justification is to run throughout Europe while Nigeria bleeds?” Atiku asked.
