Awaziem prepares for a new season with the new FC Nantes club

Chidozie Awaziem has joined his new club, FC Nantes, for the preseason while preparing for the next campaign.

The Nigerian defender already debuted on Saturday in a friendly against Stade Rennais, who ended in a 3–2 defeat for Nantes.

The party presented an unusual format of three periods of 45 minutes each.

The next two Awaziem preseason games will be against Angers and Paris FC, scheduled for August 2 and 9, respectively.

It is expected to make its first competitive appearance for Nantes in the first weekend of Ligue 1 against Paris Saint-Germain on August 17.

It promises to be a delicious clash for Awaziem, since the PSG comes from a remarkable season, having won the quadruple and ended as runner -up in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Awaziem must be at your best, since a strong performance could solidify your place in the initial alignment for the season.

Nantes has been active in the transfers market, focusing on strengthening its defense and center of the field. They have signed six players, including:
