The faction of Giulio Abure of the Labor Party has extended an olive branch to the members who are fraternity with other political parties, urging them to return to the party.

Abure, the national president of the party, made this known during the briefing of journalists on the result of the meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC) in Abuja on Monday.

According to him, the party doors are open for those who wish to return, provided that they realize their actions.

Abure explained that while every Nigerian had the right to fraternize with any group or political party of his choice, the establishment of the party was clear and unequivocal.

“The party constitution is very clear and the constitution of Nigeria is equally clear, which you cannot belong to two political parties at the same time.

“We are watching members that Romanian other parties and at the right time, the feast bodies will decide what will happen.

“We are therefore taking advantage of the opportunity to say that our doors are open. They should tease their swords and go home.

“If they come back and apologize, we are ready to forgive them because we believe there is no Victor and there is no defeat,” he said.

Speaking also, the candidate vice-president of the party in the elections 2923, as a Baba-ahmed, said that Mr. Peter Obi, a former candidate for the party presidency, is still a member Labor party.

“He (Obi) participated in the coalition interviews. A coalition is not a political party and has not become a member of the ADC. This is the best of my knowledge.

“There is no crack in the Labor Party and, by the grace of Almighty God, there will never be a crack. We are solidly together,” he said.

According to Baba-Ahmed, LP is not a party to be abandoned, above all having achieved what nobody had ever achieved in the political history of Nigeria.

Therefore, he urged the Nigerians to remember the good that the party had brought to the country and continues to support him.

“Before 2027 and even beyond, I want to reconcile all the members. This is what a non -ambitious and loyal member of one part will do, and that’s what I am doing,” he said.
