Bans UK over 100 foreign recruitment professions

The government of the United Kingdom has announced a ban on over 100 professions by workers outside the United Kingdom.

The government of the United Kingdom said that the move was part of the efforts to cut net migration.

The home office in the United Kingdom announced it in a shared declaration X Saturday 30 August 2025.

He said: “Cutting net migration means obtaining the right fundamental.

“More than 100 professions can no longer benefit from hiring abroad, opening more jobs for British workers.

“A more right system focused on skills is taking shape.”

The Ministry of the Interior has not yet published the complete list of professions limited at the time of submitting this relationship.
