Abraham Santosh, an inspiring, dynamic and creative entrepreneur, and the CEO of the Alzico Group (Atlas), is radiant with joy following his decoration with a prize for the life of the Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA). He was also appointed one of the Association’s ambassadors.
This prestigious prize will be officially awarded to him to the finals of the Bdfa-Rak tournament, which will be held at the Badagry Grammar School Sports Pitch, Badagry, on June 15, 2025.
Santhosh is known for his innovative leadership and the unshakable passion for the development of football on a basic level. Over the past 13 years, he has been a strong supporter of the division, playing a crucial role in promoting and nourishing the talents of football through the Atlas Cup.
The Atlas Cup, which lasted every year from 2010 to 2024, became a development program of corner stone football within the Badagry division. Over 25,000 football players throughout the state of Lagos have benefited immensely of the initiative. More than 64 football clubs to which the male categories, female and under 13/15-have received free series of shirts and other essential supports.
According to Dr. Osondu Martins Ibegbu, president of the BDFA, this prize for life is a well -deserved honor. He expressed sincere appreciation for Mr. Santhosh for his unshakable support for the Badagry division and Lagos state in general, through football.
Our young people are no longer on the street commits crimes and engage in social vices. For 13 consecutive years, the Atlas Cup has kept them significantly. All thanks to Mr. Abraham and his company, Atlas. This title is a powerful recognition of its tireless efforts to raise the game in Badagry. The youth commitment has increased and the division has attracted more national attention due to individuals such as Abraham Santosh who have been next to us, “said Dr. Osondu.
