BDFA seats ₦ 19.1 million revenue, ₦ 21 million expenses for the 2024/25 season

Badagry, Lagos – The Badagry Division Football Association (BDFA) has released its financial report for the football season of 2024/25, reporting a total income of ₦ 19.19 million starting from an expense of ₦ 21.08 million.

According to the break, the Rak League 2025 provided the highest revenues with ₦ 11.55 million, enhanced by a sponsorship of 10 million ₦ 10 million sponsorships from the Rak Foundation. Other afflusted from the Akran Cup 2024 (₦ 1.85 m), from the Chekas Kids Cup 2025 (₦ 1.32 m) and by the affiliations of the club/tournament that produced ₦ 1.94 million.

From the point of view of expenditure, the tournaments and administrative costs were the greatest disbursements. The beneficiaries included Emaljus FC (₦ 500,000), JP Youngstars (₦ 300,000) and Great Stars Amazon (₦ 300,000).

The Akran Cup 2024 represented ₦ 1.41 million logistics, with cash prizes distributed to New FC (₦ 200,000), Youngstars FC (₦ 150,000) and Smler all Champions (₦ 100,000). The secretarial operations, which included the renewal of offices, salaries, well -being and equipment, cost the association over 4 million.

In addition, ₦ 566,000 were spent on seminars and seminars such as the tape seminar and the FCAAN F-Course, both targeted in the development of basic football.

Despite a healthy support for sponsorship, the BDFA has concluded the season with a deficit of almost ₦ 2 million.
