Insurance bowed out of Africa’s second tier club competition after a 3-2 aggregate defeat to RS Berkane.

Insurance knew they have to produce extra ordinary performance at Stade Municipal de Berkane to qualify for the lucrative Group phase of the competition after 2-2 draw at home.

After 90 minutes of play, the Moroccans came out on top 1-0 to edge out the Monday Odigie-tutored side.

Following the exit of Insurance, Rivers United remain the only Nigerian side left in the Competition.
