Big opportunity for young players as registration opens for Igboho Super Cup

Silversport Nigeria Limited has officially announced the launch of the Sunday Igboho Super Cup, a historic grassroots football competition that will transform talent discovery and youth development in Oyo State and across Yorubaland.

The initiative comes after a strategic engagement with Sunday Adeyemo Igboho, who has given full approval and support to the tournament. Their support adds strong cultural importance and community support to what is expected to become one of the most impactful soccer programs in the region.

The Sunday Igboho Super Cup is designed as a large-scale football development project aimed at identifying, nurturing and promoting young football talents across Oyo State.

To ensure wide participation and effective organization, the state has been divided into five football zones:

• Ibadan

• Ogbomosho

• OYO

• Oke-Ogun

• Ibarapa

Clubs, academies and football teams in these areas are invited to register and compete within their respective regions.

*Road to the Oduduwa Soccer Tournament*

Beyond the competition, the Super Cup serves as a strategic projection platform for the prestigious Oduduwa Football Tournament.

Prominent players discovered during the competition will be selected from each zone and brought together to represent Oyo State in the upcoming Oduduwa Football Tournament, a major regional championship showcasing the best talents from across the South West.
