In a move to increase the development of young people through sport, the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (Bipc) announced the plans to collaborate with the international football icon of Benue, Francesca Oron Oon, to establish a football academy for girls throughout the state on Tuesday.
This was revealed by the CEO of the Bipc group, dr. Raymond Asemakaha, during a reception held in honor of the historic fifth Cup of the Nations of the Nations (Wafcon) of order in Morocco. Dr. Asemakaha praised the stellar athlete for his exceptional successes, noting his vital role in raising Benue’s name on the global sports map.
“We are excited to receive Francesca Ordega today. Our company could be business oriented, but we are fully committed to investing in initiatives that align with social progress. The collaboration with her on sports development is an honor,” he said.
In addition to the development of sport, Bipc has expressed full support for the humanitarian awareness of Ordega to the indoor displaced people (IDP) in the State, an initiative that is defending together with the Academy project.
He orders, in his response, he praised the industrial passages of the Bipc and his commitment to produce local brands such as Beer Premium Zeva, imperative fertilizers and solar energy vehicles.
He underlined the urgency of creating a nutritional platform for aspiring players, calling the academy his “biggest dream”.
“This academy will be a springboard for countless girls who, like me, dream of playing on the world stage. I am proud to do it for Benue,” said Ordega.
Even speaking, Terver Bosua, head of the finance and accounts of the Bipc, has applauded the efforts to order in bringing international attention to Benue and underlined the enthusiasm of the company for the partnership.
