For the second time in two days, black smoke stepped from the sistine chapel chimney on Thursday morning, confirmed that the College of Cardinals had not yet reached a consensus about the next Catholic Church Leader.
The signal, seen rising above the Vatican shortly after the deliberation, shows that there are no candidates who secure the two-thirds of the majority votes needed to become the 267th Pope. This followed the previous black smoke that appeared Wednesday night, shortly after 133 cardinal voters entered the conclave to choose the successor of Pope Francis, who died on Monday Easter.

While some observers hope for fast selection, repeated appearance of black smoke shows that decisions may still require time. People in the Vatican remain optimistic with the heart -obey that the whale can be selected before the weekend, even though there is no time line that has been confirmed.
Meanwhile, the eyes of the world remain fixed on the sistine chapel chimney, waiting for the time when white smoke will increase – signing that the new whale has been chosen.
