Victor Boniface scored yet another goal for Bayer Leverkusen, contributing to the team’s resounding 4-0 triumph over Bochum on Wednesday.
Despite starting on the bench, the 22-year-old striker, made a significant impact when he entered the field in the 67th minute.
Boniface replaced hat-trick hero, Patrik Schick and just two minutes later, he was on the score sheet for Leverkusen’s fourth goal, courtesy of an assist from his strike partner, Florian Writz.
This latest goal takes Boniface’s tally to 10 goals in 16 league appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season.
Xabi Alonso’s side, remains undefeated in the Bundesliga, securing victories in 13 matches and drawing three out of their 16 league encounters.
With a total of 42 points, Die Werkself currently holds the top position in the Bundesliga standings.
