The Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State approved the appointment of Hon. Ismaila Ahmed Gadaka in the role of the new Emirate Mai Gudi.
In a declaration by the Secretary of the State Government of Yobe, Baba Mallam Wali, and made available to the journalists of Damaturu by his press secretary, Shuaibu Abdullahi, revealed that the appointment follows the death of the late Emiro, Alhaji Isa Bunuwa Madugu Ibn Kaji, nafter a prolonged illness.
According to the declaration, his real height, the new Mai Gudi, was a member of the House of Representatives, Fika/Fund Federal Collionons, from 2011-2019.
“He was the commissioner of the Hon. In the state government of Yobe from 2007-2010. He is president of the Government Council, Federal College of Education, Yawuri, State of Kebbi, from 2024 to today.
“He is also president of the monitoring and evaluation committee of the local government project from 2024 to today. As a professional banker, he had served both in UBA and in Standard Trust Bank, where he climbed the position of company director.
“He also had the traditional title of Yariman Gudi until his appointment on Saturday,” he said.
