Bye Elections: APC clarifies, the Minister of Defense has not lost electoral unity

Abuja (Repoter core) im a bid ro rei registers of the record, the All Progressives Congress (APC) said that the former governor of the state of Jigawa and the honorable Minister of Defense did not lose his election unity due to the opposition, the Democratic Party of the peoples (PDP) as stated by the reports.

In a declaration signed by his Natiomal Secretary, the Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, and made available to basic journalists on Sunday 17 August 2015, APC said that the official result (EC8A form) indicates that APC has won convincingly to the Minister’s surveys unit

The declaration said: “The All Progressives Congress (APC) wishes to clarify the misleading relationships regarding the Federal Electoral College of Babura/Garki, claims in particular that the former governor of the State of Jigawa and the honorable Minister of Defense have lost his unit of polls for the opposition.

“To avoid doubt, the official result (EC8A module) indicates that APC has fully won the Minister’s electoral unit – PU002, Ward 1, local government of Babura with 188 votes against the 164 votes probed by the Democratic Party of people (PDP).

“This sensational victory reflects the continuous trust of the people of the Federal College of Babura/Garki in our party both in the state and federal level,” concluded the declaration.
