As part of the largest CAF strategy to rename and raise its competitions, the new design was designed to amplify the visual impact of the most coveted prize of African football.

“In line with the vision of the president of the CAF, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, we are renamed and repositioning African football with a special focus to the interclub competitions currently”, said the secretary general of the Caf Véron Mosengo -Ba.
