By SilverNews

The Association of Calls of Calcio dell’Amm has officially appealed to the leadership of the Nationwide League One (NLO) of Nigeria on behalf of Campos FC, a recently sanctioned basic club for match-Fixing accusations.

In a letter addressed to the President of the NLO, the Association expressed profound concern for the disciplinary measures made to the FC Campipos and asked for a reconsideration of the sanctions. The owners of the club underlined their commitment to integrity and fair play, also recognizing the severity of the accusations.

“While we understand the need to support the standards of the League, we appeal with passion for clemency,” said the letter. “Campos FC is a young and growing club that gives tangible contributions to the development of talents and the commitment of the community in the imo state.”

By describing the accident as deplorable but not reflecting the club values, the association invited the championship to mitigate justice with Mercy and to allow Campos FC to continue participating in the current season.

The appeal was signed by Capo Kachi Atum (Malick), president of the Imo Club Owners Association, and Bro Kingsley Azodo, secretary.

The NLO has not yet issued an official response to the reason.
