CG Immigration Nandap gets an extension of the mandate
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved an extension of Mrs. Kemna Nanna Nandap’s mandate as a general controller of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) until 31 December 2026.
Mrs. Nandap began her career in the immigration service of Nigeria on 9 October 1989.
President Tinubu appointed it as a general controller on March 1, 2024, to serve until 31 August 2025.
Under his guide, the immigration service of Nigeria has witnessed significant progress in its basic mandate, with significant improvements in the management of borders, modernization of immigration processes and national security measures.
President Tinubu praised the general controller for his exemplary leadership and urged him to continue to devote himself to the strategic priorities of the service, which align themselves with the renewed agenda of the hope of his administration.
The president reiterated the commitment of his administration in supporting the immigration service of Nigeria in satisfying his mandate to protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria and promote safe, legal and orderly migration.
