Chairman of the APC Nasarawa was suspended by Ward because of the alleged anti-party activities

The leadership of the Congress of all Progressive (APC) in Gayam Ward, the area of ​​the Lafia regional government in the state of the nasarawa, has suspended party leaders in the state, Aliyu Bello, for alleged anti-party activities.

The APC Executive Committee in the state previously gave a vote to the chairman.

The party leader in Ward Gayam, Ibrahim Ilyasu, announced the suspension of the chairman at a press briefing at the Lafia on Tuesday.

He said Bello’s suspension was a unanimous decision by all party officials in the ward after he was found guilty of violating Article 21 of the party’s constitution.

He accused that the chairman was openly involved in anti-party activities by campaigning for candidates from other political parties in the state.

“In line with the power given to us as the executive of the ward based on Article 21 (d) (i)-(iii) of the APC constitution, and has consulted broadly with stakeholders in the environment, we have decided that you, Hon. Aliyu Bello, with this suspended from all progressive Congress (APC) with a deep effect.

“Specifically, we have evidence and credible reports that you have openly promoted and campaigned for other political party members, which violated Article 21 (0), (II), and (VII) which prohibited; involved in actions that tend to bring the party into hatred, humiliation, ridicule or damage,” Ward Chairman stated.
