Chelle Final Super Eagles B Squadron for Chan 2024

Super Eagles chief coach Eric Chelle, appointed his final team of 23 men for the African Nations Championship (Chan) 2024.

The tournament is scheduled for August 2 to 30 in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Announced on Wednesday night, the team presents three goalkeepers, seven defenders, six midfielders and seven strikers, all extracted from the National League.

Porters: Henry Ani (Enyimba), Nurudeen Badmus (Kwara United), Lawal Mustapha (fleeting stars).

Defensores: Bankole Afeez (Kwara United), Taiwo Abdulraft (Rivers United), Sodiq Ismail (Relo Stars), Ngengen Leonard (Ikorodu City), Steven Mayo Egbe (Rivers United), Junior Harrison Nduka (Remo Stars).

Midfielders: Adebayo Olamilekan, Hadi Haruna, Michael Tochukwu, Akanni Qdus and Alex Oyowah (all rowing stars), otaniyi Taofik (Rivers United).

Attackers: Anas Yusuf (Nasarawa United), Shola Adelani (city of Ikorodu), Sikiru Alimi (Relo Stars), Theitope Vincent (Plateau United), Ijoma Anthony (Abia Warriors), Godwin Obasi (Rangers International), Jabbar Malik (Remo Stars).

Nigeria is in group D together with the defense champions Senegal, the Congo and Sudan. The Chan Eagles will begin their campaign with a crispy opener against Los Lions Teranga.

The squad will leave for Zanzíbar shortly after concluding weeks of intensive training in the standing sports institute in Ikenne-Remo, state of Ogun.
