Chelle talks about convincing Nwaneri to play for Super Eagles – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

The Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle admitted that it could be difficult to beat England in the young man from Arsenal Ethan Nwaneri.

Nwaneri is suitable for playing for both Nigeria and England.

The eighteen year old has enjoyed an innovative season at Arsenal following injuries to some of the key stars of Gunners.

So far the midfielder has scored eight goals and has made two assists for Arsenal this season.

“During my trip to England (to meet Super Eagles stars like Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi), I said I wanted Nwaneri to play for Nigeria,” said Chelle in Scorenigeria.

“I want the Nff to talk to him and then I will talk to him too.”

“It will be difficult because England will also want to support it internationally.

“But I think I can convince him because I will talk to him in the game project and where he adapts after the Nff must have put himself in touch with him.”
