In a recent interview on TV channels, Adichie has distinguished Obi from other politicians, describing it as a man led by the desire to serve, rather than the ego or despair for power.

● A leader with a sense of responsibility

Adichie praised the values, humility and responsibility of Obi towards the people, saying: “Peter Obi is not a person who expects you to thank him for doing his job as a leader, because for him it is his job”.

He noticed that Obi’s sense of responsibility and the genuine concern for the well -being of the country make him stand out as a leader.

Adichie thought about his long relationship with Obi, describing him as “one of the simplest men I have ever known”.

He added: “The person he knew 15 years ago is always the same in terms of values. He is genuine, consistent and curious: which I believe are essential in a leader”.

*”A vision for a better Nigeria”*

The support of Adichie for Obi is rooted in his love for Nigeria and his belief that with the right leader, the country can be better than it is.

“I think with the right leader, we can be better than us,” he said.

Obi has again expressed his interest in running for the president in the 2027 elections and the approval of joies will probably increase his campaign.

The approval of Adichie Obi is not new, since it was his important supporter during the presidential elections of Nigeria in 2023.
