The Center for Information Technology and Development (Citad) has raised concerns about the lack of accurate data within many agencies and government institutions, which according to this undermines a political process and effective programs.
Executive director Citad, Engr. Yunusa Z. Ya’u, underlined this point on Thursday, at the end of the three -day training for 25 participants of academy, civil society organizations and government agencies on data analysis using Python.
He observed that training, the second phase of the program, aims to provide participants advanced skills in the analysis of data to support the research and development of policies. The initiative, he said, received over 10,000 questions, underlining the high demand for this training.
Represented by Hamza Ibrahim, Senior Program Officer, Ya’u stressed that Citad’s goal is to encourage the use of accurate data for effective policies, education and development.
