Owerri, Imo State – Saturday 30 August 2025
To the esteemed public and to the members of the City Boy movement,
We, the leadership of the City Boy Movement of the IMO state chapter, skillfully led by Hon. Dr Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu, state leader and Hon. Prince Francis Uzor, state coordinator, would like to face recent developments within our organization.
It has come to our attention that in the search for power, Amb. Goodluck Nwaneri has impersonated the office of the South -East coordinator, City Boy Movement and making unauthorized appointments. In particular, the appointment of Prince Osinachi Amako, vice -president, Owerri West Lga, as the state coordinator of the City Boy Movement of the IMO state chapter, is discredited and considered nothing.
We reiterate that AL. Prince Francis Uzor is the duly appointed state coordinator of the City Boy State movement and Amb. Goodluck Nwaneri is the director of state, while the Hon. Dr. Ijeoma Agbonma Kalu remains the state leader. These appointments were taken on the same day by the Hon. Francis Tosin Shoga, The National DG, City Boy Movement under the supervision and approval of our national leader, Barr. Seyi Tinubu.
The trio appointments were taken in the spirit of sportiness and unity, following a successful and peaceful harmonization of the state leadership. This move aims to welcome new leaders and members, promoting a cohesive and effective team.
We urge the public to ignore any claim or actions made by Prince Osinachi Amako or by any other individual who claims to represent the chapter of the state of the city movement without an adequate authorization. We assure the public that these issues will be addressed internally and that the managers of these unauthorized actions will have to face the necessary consequences.
We remain engaged in transparency and responsibility within our organization. We will continue to work for our objectives and objectives in support of the renewed agenda of hope, as sanctioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, supporting the principles of unity and sportiness that define the movement of the city.
*Signed*
Hon. Prince Ebuka Ogbuehi
