Coach Emmanuel Amunike Shower praise on the pillars of Kano Captain Rabiu Ali after the day 32 Clash in Owerri

Heartland FC may have achieved a result fought against Kano’s pillars on the 32 day of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), but the spotlights shone brilliantly on the Veteran midfielder and the captain of the pillars, Rabiu Ali.

After the intense meeting held in Owerri, the head of the Heartland FC coach, Emmanuel Amunike, took a moment to accumulate praise on the legendary figure of Nigerian football.

Speaking with post-match journalists, Amunike described Rabiu Ali as “a symbol of consistency, leadership and passion”, adding that the performance of the midfielder of the day was “to say the least inspiring”.

The game, which ended with both sides that fought intensely for the points, saw Ali play a fundamental role in dictating the game and motivating his teammates during the 90 minutes.

Ali, known with affection as “Pele” from the fans, has spent over a decade as a pillar in Kano Pillars’ team and remains one of the most respected and famous figures of the League.
