The Nigeria Senate Committee for repairs and repatriation of the Senate of Abuja (Core Reporter) has decided to meet ambassadors and high commissioners of all African countries. The President of the Committee, Senator Nwoko, observed that the Committee is ready to face the secule injustices relating to slavery with attention to guarantee the return of the sacked cultural heritage.

He boasted that the Committee undertakes to connect credible evidence of offenses by individuals, states, companies and institutions, both passed and present, with the aim of facing systemic injustices that have marginalized groups within Nigeria and African diaspora.

According to Nwoko, “the work of the committee is structured, based on evidence and vast scope, aiming not only to face cultural and historical issues, but also to cover various sectors affected by historical injustices.

“The work in front of us is not symbolic or ceremonial, we are authorized to investigate local and international injustices in progress and in progress and formulate concrete recommendations for compensation and compensation,” he said.

In addition, the Committee tries to establish dialogical paintings and to propose legal and political models aligned with national and international laws, collaborating with experts in law, history, anthropology, economics and diplomacy.

In line with the mandate of the Committee and to support his efforts, he appointed Chukwuebuka Anyduba, development strategist and cultural lawyer, as a consultant.

Anyduba will recommend the strategy, the involvement of stakeholders, international partnerships and communications, in particular in promoting awareness and supporting the repatriation of stolen artifacts and reparative justice.

His appointment is considered strategic to amplify the Nigeria agenda on repairs and model its global cultural heritage.

The Committee also provides to involve the local and international parties through dialogue, diplomacy and development of policies to facilitate the return of cultural activities sacked during colonialism and slavery.

Citing the degradation of the oil of the Niger delta, the extrajudicial killings, the lead from Zamfara lead and accidents such as the demolitions of Daki Biyu, the president said that there are “no-go areas for the committee, except the cases currently under active judicial consideration.
