“Come to Mama”, the final song of the 1985 album by Pete Townshend, “White City”. Simon Phillips touches the battery in the original, and is incredibly challenging for me to follow the rhythm. In my opinion, this song is a hidden jewel in the substantial collection of solo work of Townshend. Strange name too. Love it. Simon is in my top 5
David…nice job…a favorite song of mine…ever. So much music in it and so much going on. How did you find this relatively obscure track and what inspired you to do this?
Simon Phillips is a beast! Rock on!
Superb!
Outstanding!!!
Solemn, impetuous, brave, noble and moving … one of Pete's most beautiful songs. It is in my heart…and when I hear this song I am moved by and i cry. A hug from Italy
Well doneπ
Can you redo this in 4K ? Thanks.
