The executive president of Aboh Mbaise area of the local government, Barr. Iheukwpeperto Arbe, has appointed companion Frank Obi Uche as coordinator for rural development and economic empowerment.
The appointment, announced at the Council headquarters, requires UCCs to supervise the Empowerment programs directed to the local government by state and federal governments, as well as monitor development projects within Abah Mbaise on behalf of the IMO state government.
Aribes said that the new role was created to ensure that the Council receives its right share of resources and benefits. He expressed confidence in the ability of UCCs to deliver, ensuring it the Council cooperation.
In his observations, UCC has committed himself to fulfilling his duties with transparency and responsibility, promising to work to maximize the opportunities for the people of Abah Mbaise.
Those present at the event included the leader of the Legislative Council of about Mbaise, RT. Hon. Anthony Ndulore; Barr. Charles Mbakwe; Chapter Whip of the AMLC, Hon. Chinonye Nwogu; Hon.
