Cross River APC set aside automatic tickets for members of the National Assembly, others in 2027

Congress of all Progressive (APC) at Cross Rivers State has set aside automatic tickets to serve members of the National Assembly and Members of the State Parliament in the 2027 General Election.

The party, however, gave automatic tickets to Governor Bassey Otu and his deputy, Dr. Peter Odey.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the State Executive Council (SEC) held on Tuesday in Calabar.

At the meeting led by its chairman in the state, Alphonsus Ogar, the party praised the steps for the development of the governor.

The members also praised members of the National Assembly for their brave and brave support for the President of the Tinubu Bola, for the declaration of emergencies in the state of Rivers.

In his words, Ogar stated the party’s readiness for the 2027 general election at the cross river.

He urged all representatives to be elected from board members to senators, including subsequent election candidates to return to their constituents to find their blessings and support.

“This is because there is no automatic ticket for anyone except the governor and deputy,” said the chairman.
