The First Lady of the State of Lagos, its excellence Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Elimo, praised Dufil Primo Foods, producers of instant Noodles, for its investments supported in feeding the future leaders through the fans of indomies (IFC) which for two decades, served as a dynamic platform for the formation of young minds.
He highlighted the impact programs of the club that have enhanced countless children, underlining his vital role in modeling future leaders and contributing positively to the community.
Speaking at the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the club held during the 2025 children’s holidays at the Epapa Amusement Park, the First Lady praised the club’s contribution to the development of the child, underlining its role in promoting creativity, trust and moral values through activities such as narration, showcases of talents and community service.
“This celebration does not only concern the fun, it is a purpose. The fans of indomies continues to inspire intellectual and social growth in our children,” he observed. He also reaffirmed the commitment of the state government of Lagos against the well -being of minors through education, health care and initiatives such as the Child Lagos Boy Child project and support for the young farmers’ young clubs.
Temitope Ashiwaju, general manager, business communications and events at Dufil Primo Foods, highlighted the inheritance of the club: “For 20 years, the IFC has been a lighthouse of joy, education and creativity. Today’s celebration concerns children, the community and continuity”.
Karishma Rustagi, head of the fans of indomies, added: “The smiles we see today reflect 20 years of love and learning. This anniversary is a celebration of growth, fun and education and the launch of our documentaries marks a stimulating milestone”.
The flagship event of Lagos has transformed Apapa Amusement Park into a lively center of rides, games, narrative and shows, drawing thousands of children, families and educators. At national level, over 150,000 children participated in the celebration of a week held from 20 to 27 May in various regions.
Founded in 2005, the fans of indomies is now one of the largest involvement platforms focused on Nigeria, which boasts over 150,000 members aged between 4 and 12 years. Through educational programs, excursions, competitions and campaigns led by value, IFC continues to lay the foundations for the next generation of Nigeria leaders.
