Dessers scores as Rangers beat Motherwell

Cyriel Dessers found the back of the net for the second game in a row as Rangers recorded a 2-1 win over Motherwell on Saturday.

Having scored his goal in Rangers’ UEFA Champions League qualifier against Dynamo kyiv, Dessers opened the scoring in the 15th minute at Ibrox, latching on to a pass from Mohammed Diomande.

However, Rangers’ Roben Propper scored an own goal just five minutes later to level the scores for the visitors.

In the 24th minute, Vaclav Cerny scored the winning goal, assisted by James Tavarnier.

Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun started on the bench but entered the game in the 73rd minute, replacing Propper.
