Disorders as a delegation triggered chaos in Atiku, Obi, Amachi’s coalition meeting

Tensions flared on Sunday when the meeting of the high profile coalition involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi from the Labor Party, and former Governor Roivers Rotimi Amaechi was thrown into chaos by a delegation from the state of Jigawa.

The meeting, which was held at the Abuja Continental Hotel under the National Political Consultative Group (north), turned chaotic after a dispute over representatives for the state of Jigawa.

The scene became hot when the former Federation Government Secretary, Babachir Lawal, tried to announce a delegation to speak for the country. In the defiance show, some Jigawa delegates rushed to the stage, physically blocking the speakers mentioned and insisted they would not accept the announced representatives.
