Ebonyi to acquire aircraft soon – Commissioner

The state government of Ebonyi said that it is a step from the acquisition of its plane.

The state commissioner for aviation and transport technology, Dr. Ngozi Obichukwu, revealed it to journalists on Tuesday.

Obichukwu after his visit to the state committee of the assembly chamber for public account eliminated the governor Francis Nwifuru, in particular his determination to further develop the state of Ebonyi.

He revealed that the State concluded agreements for the CAC registration and pending the license to purchase its aircraft.

He said: “Yes, the CAC concerns the Ebonyi Plc airline. Without the CAC and the members of the Council who work for the airline, we may not be able to have what we call the air transport license.

“The CAC also includes the CAC of the members of the Board of Directors. We have the CAC of the Rice World. We have the CAC ICT and therefore those of us who are not companies, we must show our beneficiary, pay while earning taxes for 33 years. All these things are intensively intensive.

“But I thank our dear governor, Francis Nwifuru, once determined to do something, nothing stops him. We went on to get all the required CAC. And now we are going towards the air transport license.

“Once the air transport license has entered, the next thing is the airline, the plane. This means that the plane will soon be ready? Not that the aircraft is already ready, wherever it is. But once the rudiments and all the activities, all the requirements, all the documents, which are currently underway.

“We have just ended with the DSS and the secretary of the Federation, Sgf. Now we are ready to be released the license to allow the purchase and to get an airline is not like buying a normal refrigerator from any market.

“There are other ways to follow him. As if we see the airline, we have fan professionals, NCAA and all the rest of them, who will now monitor to ensure that the plane is good.”
