Edo FA Partners with GreenBii to Revolutionize Grassroots Football with Club Websites

The Edo State Football Association, under the leadership of Chairman Fred Newton, has forged a partnership with technology company GreenBii in a groundbreaking move aimed at advancing grassroots football in Edo State.

The memorandum of understanding (MOU), signed on Friday, November 14, focuses on providing websites for 100 football clubs spread across the state’s 18 local government areas.

The initiative, undertaken within the first week of the new FA board’s tenure, reflects the association’s commitment to embracing technology and enhancing the digital presence of grassroots teams.

As part of the agreement, GreenBii, a leading technology company, will sponsor the creation of websites for the selected 100 clubs.

These websites will serve as comprehensive platforms, enabling clubs to upload and manage databases containing information about the club, coaches, players, and other relevant details.

The move is designed to facilitate easy access to information and contribute to the overall development of grassroots football in the state.
