Edo PDP holds the LGA Congress ahead of 2027 Election

The Democratic People’s Party (PDP) in the state of Edo conducted a congress in 18 regional regions of the state on Saturday.

This exercise was carried out to choose a new executive committee and the national party delegation.

The Chairperson of the PDP Guard Committee in the state, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, monitored training in the city of Benin, the state capital, in addition to the panel from the party’s national headquarters led by Hillary Okute.

At the Oredo Regional Government Secretariat, where members turned out to be for this exercise, Aziegbemi praised the process as peaceful and transparent.

He described the exercise as a “rebirth” of the party ahead of the 2027 general election.

He said: “What you see here is the beginning of the rebirth of the PDP in Nigeria.

“Last week, we held an environmental congress in all 192 state wards, trying the best ever.”

The chairman emphasized that the Regional Government Congress on Saturday further showed the excitement, excitement, and enthusiasm of party members in Edo.

Aziegbemi accused all of the progressive Congress (APC) plunged Nigeria into difficulties.

“More than 60 million Nigerians go to sleep hungry every night because of the government that does not understand APC.

“What we do here in Edo is a parade to save Nigeria,” he said.
