The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 56 suspected internet fraudsters in Kwara State.
EFCC Head of Media and Advocacy, Dele Oyewale, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He said the suspects were arrested between Tuesday and Wednesday at different locations in Ilorin.

He added that the arrests followed credible intelligence reports regarding the activities of fraudsters who plunge unsuspecting citizens into misery and tears through their deceitful acts.
βThe items that were successfully secured from them included 18 exotic car brands, laptops, expensive smartphones and amulets.
βThe suspects will be brought to justice after the ongoing investigation is completed,β the spokesman added.
