EFCC declares Seun Ogunbambo Wanted over N976.6 million fraud of oil subsidies

The commission for economic and financial crimes (EFCC) declared the CEO of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited, Seun Ogunbambo, desired for having skipped the deposit in his trial for alleged fraud of oil subsidies.

The EFCC made the declaration in a notice signed by the head of the media and advertising of the Commission, Delewale, on Friday 13 June 2025.

The anti-Innesto agency stated that Ogunbamba would have frozen the federal government in phases of fake oil subsidies on the melody of N976,653,110,28.

The Commission said: β€œHe was facing a trial before a high court of the Lagos state but disappeared after being released on bail.

β€œHis co-accused, Mamman Nasir Ali and Christian Taylor, were sentenced and sentenced to 14 years of imprisonment each on Tuesday 27 May 2025.
