The governor of the state of Bauchi, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has extended greetings Eid-El-Kabir to Muslim umma and the entire people of the state of baucs, urging all citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, unity and compassion during the holiday.
In a statement issued by his special councilor for the media and advertising, Mukhtar Gidado, the governor Mohammed, described the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir as a moment to reflect on the teachings of the prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose act of obedience and faith is at the center of the Sallah Festival.
The governor invited the residents of the state of Bauchi to use the opportunity to promote peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and harmony among all people, regardless of religious, ethnic or political affiliations.
“We remember being custodians of our brothers,” he said.
“We extend the hands of kindness to the least privileged, we promote understanding between us and work together to build a society based on justice, equity and harmony.”
Governor Mohammed reiterated the commitment of his administration towards the good government, safety and well -being of all citizens.
He observed that the progress and development of the state of Bauchi are based on his people’s collective efforts in maintaining peace and unity.
While praying for the continuous guide, the protection and blessings of Allah, the governor wished the Muslim faithful a celebration of joyful, peaceful and spiritually.
The 2025 EID-EL-Kabir Festival should be marked throughout the state of baucs with prayers, family gatherings and acts of charity, in line with Islamic traditions.
