The governor of the state of Zamfara, Dauda Lawal, has approved a special Eid-El-Kabir bonus for all public employees and retired in the state, reaffirming the commitment of his administration towards the well-being of its citizens.
The announcement was contained in a declaration Tuesday by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmoud Muhammad Dantawasa.
He said that the gesture aimed to facilitate the financial burden for families during the holiday season and allow beneficiaries to celebrate with joy and dignity.
Governor Lawal, who is currently in Mecca for Hajj’s pilgrimage, has extended his warm greetings to the people of Zamfara, urged them to celebrate responsibly and continue to pray for the peace and progress of the state.
“I am deeply grateful to the omnipotent Allah for granting us the opportunity to attend another Eid. While we celebrate, undermines all of us to reflect on the essence of the season: unity, sacrifice and compassion.
“We pray for our beloved state of Zamfara and our nation, Nigeria. Together, we can build a better future for ourselves and the generations to come,” said the governor.
