Ekiti 2026: I am ready for direct or indirect primary primary with Oyebanji – Ojo

One of the aspirants who contest the ticket of the Governor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the sentence in the state of Ekiti, Engr Kayodo Ojo, said he is desperate to govern the state because of his passion and ability to transform the state.

The aspiring, however, has promised to combine the governor in a situation Biodun Oybanji in any primary (direct or indirect) mode adopted by the party.

Speaking with the journalists on Thursday at the National Secretariat of the Party, after having presented his forms of appointment, ENGR OJO, in a speech entitled: “The beginning of a giant step”, said with him as governor, the president Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be assured in the state of Ekiti for his re -election.

According to him, the elections concern a leader capable of mobilizing for the reforms during the president, not someone who will raise people through non -performance.

The aspirant of the Governorate also warned the party not to support a candidate who in the end will lose in the general elections to an opposition party.

On the reason why he is desperate to govern Ekiti, Engr Ojo said: “In Ekiti, Mr. Mr. Desperate call me, to be honest with you, they are right because I am desperate to free my people and develop our state”.

Ojo said that the people of Ekiti and the EPC members in the state want significant change.

“Our agenda is clear and achievable. We will align ourselves with the renewed agenda of the president’s hope. We will combine the party members, we will face the complaints and guarantee their well -being. We will prudently use Ekiti’s resources to transform the infrastructure of the local government. A suitable state capital and build Ekiti’s economy.

“Our party leaders have declared that they will ensure the election of a popular candidate who can win, not someone who will have difficulty. I am that candidate. We enjoy the support of the majority of the members of the APC in the state. We are confident of winning the primaries and obtaining a resonant protection for the general elections.
