Abuja (basic reporter) before October 27, 2025, all the first of Goodun Oyebanji of the Progressive Congress Congress (APC), Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji warned his opponents not to be in the bank on the approval of social media and on the Rant, saying that “there is no unit of polls on social media”.

Bao, while the governor Oyebanji is popularly called by his admirers, gave the warning on Wednesday 10 September, at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, where he presented his appointment forms in the midst of a reception similar to a carnival.

While addressed to a gigantic crowd that accompanied him to the APC national secretariat to present his form, Oyebanji noticed that he spent his first year in charge by completing all the projects from his predecessor, unlike the middle Nigerian leaders. He added that in the last three years there has been a huge infrastructure development in the state, including access to electricity, health care, pensions and workforce reforms.

However, while putting the questions of journalists on what Ekiti’s people should expect if he ensures a second term, Bao has promised to consolidate his previous results: continuity, shared prosperity and innovation. He also stated that the reform of education remains his greatest unfinished priority.

“I wish a company in which every secondary school has electronic cards, in which our children are prepared for the 21st century challenges. Here is where my attention will be in the next administration,” he said.

Oyebanji quickly contrasted the division accusations within the APC and voices of ties with the African democratic congress (ADC), rejecting them as economic chatter. He added that the crowd that came with him to the APC national secretariat is the cream of the Crema of the state of Ekiti APC, therefore, who wondered who else was left there to form a division.

“You are seeing here today with all the leaders, interested parties and former governors United; APC is not a party divided to Ekiti,” he said.

Even speaking, the leader of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, assured that the governor has done well in the state in the last three years and deserves another four years to complete what he started in the state. He strengthened Oyebanji’s position on the party unit in the state, underlining that the APC Ekiti remained the strongest in the country.

“Regardless of what someone says, this state is united behind the governor Oyebanji. All three senators, six members of the House of Representatives, 26 members of the state assembly and every president of the local government is standing with him. The factions of the PDP support him. For grace of God, the primaries of October 27 are a deal made,” said Bamidele.

The Senate leader added that Oyebanji’s performance in infrastructures, in the development of human capital and in the construction of peace had gained him rare bipartisan support, citing the sponsorships of the allies of the former governor Ayodle Fayose and the ex senator Biodun Olujimi, both in support of Oyebanji.
