Hoodlums attacked the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital, on Thursday, burning vehicles and causing chaos.
In Hadejia, another area of Jigawa, the #EndBadGovernance protests turned violent, as security agents dispersed protesters marching towards Government House in Dutse.

In Gumel, a shop belonging to the state-owned Agricultural Supplies Company (JASCO), the house of the member of parliament representing Gumel, Gagarawa and Maigarati, as well as the residence of the APC Zonal Deputy Chairman, were vandalized and looted by protesters who overpowered security agents deployed in the area.
Additionally, in Birninkudu, two people were injured and fertilizer and grain stores were vandalized and looted by protesters.
Similar things happened in the cities of Ringim, Jahun and Kazaure, protesters took to the streets, demanding an end to bad governance.
The situation remains tense in both states, with reports of clashes and destruction of property continuing. The #EndBadGovernance protests, aimed at addressing economic hardship, have turned deadly in the North-West geopolitical zone.
