The president of the Enugu State Taekwondo Association, the Coach Ebere Amraiizu, described his recent prize and honor by the Taekwondo Association of Nigeria is a call and a challenge for greater efforts and positive actions.
The award was awarded to Amraiizu at the 3 days just ended 4th edition of the Taekwondo unit gamesdetained from 12 to 14 June 2025, at the Nigeria Air Force Valley, ASOKORO, ABUJA Multi -Jusal Room.

He also recognized the efforts of the Grand Master Dennis Anih and other masters of Taekwondo in the Taekwondo school of the ENUGU state for their continuous dedication to the development of sport.
It has been collected that the coach Amraiizu was honored as a Supporter of Nigerian youth Empowerment and crime prevention through sport. The event characterized over 300 athletes of 21 clubs and institutions and was held in collaboration with various Taekwondo bodies and the sports direction of the defense headquarters.
In his observations, the commander of Campo 053, the captain of the HS Ibrahim group, represented by the officer responsible for sports at the Unit of Nigeria Air Force (NAF), the flight lieutenant Chijioke Colony, delivered a message of good will. He praised Unity games to constructively involve young people, stating that these efforts would inspire more children and young people in the community. He also expressed NAF’s will to host future editions of the event if he was given the opportunity.
During the closing ceremony, the president of the Unity Taekwondo games, Maestro Gbolahan Ogunmuyiwa, encouraged parents to incorporate physical suitability in the education of their children. He highlighted Taekwondo as one of the safest combat sports for children due to his emphasis on discipline, ethics and moral rebirth.
The salient points of the event included the presentation of trophies, medals and honors to exceptional athletes and personalities.
