The Eternal Brothers Club explained the reason behind the change of its former name: United Brothers Club, observing that it aims at the eternal friendship of the members.
The vice -president of the club, dr. Kelechukwu Okezie, said in an interview on Wednesday in Abakaliki, that the uniqueness of the name: eternal, stands out.
Okezie said that the eternal name speaks for the value and mission of the club because eternal friendship and comraide are ideal virtues.
“We aim to continue to support each other, bond in love and improving the well -being of members.
“We have made considerable progress from the training of the club and we want to support these ideals and talents”.
He noticed that the first name United Brothers Club could be seen as a common but also with biblical injunctions, whatever eternal thing is unique.
“We tied ourselves like one and we want to remain up to infinity.”
Okezie observed that the Easter evening/club prize will be ideal and unique, on display the rich heritage of the club.
“The event to be held on April 14, 2025, will attend a shot by those who are in society and chaired by the ambassador Frank Ogbuewu, a former Nigerian ambassador to Greece and Minister of Culture and Tourism.
“We honored great men in Ebonyi and beyond the individuals who contributed to the growth and development of the state and Nigeria.
“Those to be honored include: Senator Onyekachi NWebonyi, Senator Anthony Agbo, Hon. Emmanuel Uguru, Hon. Kenneth Ugbala and Capo Moses Ogodo-Aali.Nome.
“The club will also honor other illustrious people who include senator Ken Eze, Rt. Hon. Barr. Idu Igariwey, Hon. Chimaobi Atu, among others, including the captains of the industry.
He observed that the club will use the opportunity to inaugurate the new members because belonging to the club was not something to take for granted.
“It is a rare privilege to be a member of the club because of its uniqueness that radiates and lights up in glory.
“The cream of the company will be at the event and it will be a spectacle of our wood and caliber men”,
Okezie observed that the club under the guidance of Hon. Charles Akpu-Enika with the skilled support of Exco and members, has continued to grow in strength and value.
