“If we receive a week of updating, we will be able to solve this problem,” Jacobs has expressed optimism.

The councilor of Nyako, the head Michael Kaase Aondoaka, San, confirmed to the Court that the discussions had reached an advanced phase for an off -field agreement in the alleged case of fraud.

Atondoaka, former Prosecutor General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, said he was sure that the question would be resolved amicably.

On the basis of the lawyer agreement, the judge of the trial, the judge Peter Lifu, was set on 18 July for the former governor and the anti-ingesto agency to present a regulation report.

Admiral Nyako, who is the husband of justice Binta Fatima Nyako of the Federal High Court, the Division of Abuja, was pursued by the EFCC together with his son, Abdul-Aziz, on charges of criminal conspiracy and charge for the n29bn melody.

Others have been processed with them are two companies, Sebore Farms and Extension Ltd and Pagado Fortune Ltd, as well as Zulkifik Abba, Abubakar Aliyu, Blue Opal Ltd, Tower Assents Management Ltd and Crust Energy Ltd.

The trial, which began on 8 July 2015, before the judge Evoh Chukwu was started again on September 12, 2016, before the judge Okon Abang following the death of judge Chukwu on June 8, 2016, after the EFCC had called five witnesses to establish his case.

The trial had to start over before the judge Peter Lifu, to Abang’s elevation to the Court of Appeal in 2023.
