Granit Xhaka has heaped praises on his teammate Victor Boniface for his impressive performance at Bayer Leverkusen.
Boniface has made a huge impact in the Bundesliga helping the team to the top of table with three wins from three matches.
Boniface has scored four times and providedone assist in three league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side.
”Boniface is a down-to-earth boy who is hungry for goals and successes,” Xhaka told Bild Sports.
“It’s only good for the team if you have someone up front who wants to score goals and celebrate success.
“That’s how you get better, how you make the team better, how you make yourself better. We’re glad we have someone like that with us.”
Boniface who is currently on national team assignment with Super Eagles is in race for Bundelisga player of the season.
