Ezeji Bags Rotary District 9127 Appointment, strengthen the Washing Drive – Blueprint Newspapers Limited

In a strategic move to strengthen its impact on water and hygienic -social initiatives, the Rotary International District 9127 has appointed a famous water and hygiene expert, Rotarian Joachim Ezeji, as a consultant to his life committee for water for the rotary year 2025-2026.

The appointment, formally transmitted by the District Governor Dame Dr. Princess Joy Nky Okoro, recognizes the long -standing contributions of Ezeji to the efforts of water, hygiene and hygiene (Wash) both inside and outside the rotary community.

Ezeji, who comes from RC-Garki, Abuja, brings decades of experience and a strong commitment to sustainable development in the role.

“As a consultant of the Water IS Life Committee, your experience in water and hygienic -social projects, together with your commitment for the service, makes you perfect for this consultative role,” said the appointment letter.

In this guise, Ezeji will provide a strategic guide on water and hygienic -social projects, will share the best practices for sustainability, will evaluate current initiatives and proposals and support the Committee in the construction of partnerships with the main parties interested in local and international level.

It is also expected that it contributes to the fundraising efforts by identifying potential sources of financing and subsidies, while the members of the tutoring committee on the technical aspects of the Wash projects.

The appointment comes when District 9127 intensifies its commitment for the global cause of Rotary to provide water and hygienic-sanitary services, an area of ​​critical interest to achieve the health and development of the long-term community.

Dr. Ezeji has over 15 years of active rotary experience both as a robotor and as a Rotarian.

It has over 10 years of experience of management of the post-dictate program in water, toilet-sanitary services and hygiene, with a successful track of success in the design and management of various Wash programs financed by donors.

Dr. Ezeji successfully facilitated policy and reform programs for the United Nations agencies, the US agency for international development, the World Bank and the International Cooperation Agency Japan (Jica) etc.

It has experience in the structuring of various public-private partnerships (PPP), starting and provided asset management systems (ISO55000), guiding the design of key performances, aligning incentives, strengthening people and processes, defining problems, building a culture, learning and iTeration based on data and inverting decline spirals etc.

He is a member of the Nigerian institution of water engineers (Niwe) and pupil of the public research center, Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida, in the United States.

He achieved a doctorate in civil engineering (management of water resources) at the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
