Faac actions N1.578TRN of March 2025 Revenue to FG, States, LGS – Thage

The Committee for the allocation of the Federation (FAAC) shared a total sum of N1,578 trillions of federal advice, states and advice of the local government as entrances of the March 2025 Federation account.

The Mohammed manga, the director, information and public relations, the Federal Finance Ministry, in a declaration, said that the assignment was shared during the meeting of the FAAC of April 2025 Tuesday in Abuja

A press release issued by Faac explained that the total distributable revenues of N1,578 trillion included distributable statutory revenues of N931,325 billion, entry with value added differentiation (VAT) distributable of N593.750 billion in N59.750 billion of electronic currency.

According to the press release, the total gross revenues of N2,411 trillion were available in March 2025. The total deduction for the cost of the collection was N85.376 billion, while the transfers, the total interventions and the refunds were of N747.180 billion.

The press release stated that gross legal revenues of N1,718 trillions were received for the month of March 2025.

The gross revenues of N637.618 billion were available from the value added tax (VAT) in March 2025. This was less than the N654.456 billion available in February 2025 of N16,838 billion.

The press release stated that from the total distributable revenue of N1,578 trillion, the federal government received a total sum of N528.696 billion and state governments have received a total sum of N530.448 billion.

The advice of the local government received a total sum of N387.002 billion and a total sum of N132.611 billion (13% of mineral revenues) were shared with the states of benefit as derivation revenues.

On distributable distributable non -distribution revenues N931,325 billion, the press release stated that the federal government received N422.485 billion in N422,485 and state governments received N214,290 billion.

The local government’s advice received N165,209 billion and the sum of N129.341 billion (13% of mineral revenues) were shared with the states of benefit as derivation revenues.

From the revenue of the taxes (VAT) of N593,750 billion of value added taxes (VAT), the federal government received N89,063 billion, state governments received N296.875 billion and local government’s advice received N207.813 billion.

A total sum of N3,746 billion was received by the Federal Government by the withdrawal of electronic money transfer of N24,971 (EMTL). State governments received N12,485 billion and the advice of the local government received N8,740 billion.

From the revenue of the difference in exchange n28,711 billion, the federal government has received N13.402 billion and state governments have received N6.798 billion.

The advice of the local government received N5,241 billion and a total sum of N3,270 billion (13% of mineral revenues) were shared to the states of benefit as derivation revenues.

In March 2025, the use of oil profit (PPT) and the income tax of companies (cit) increased considerably, while oil royalty and gas, the electronic withdrawal withdrawal (EMTL), the value added tax (VAT), the excise duty, the duty to import and the withdrawals of the CET have recorded decreases.
